Lots of planning including days and days worth of pictures, diagrams with circles and arrows paid off for a successful full Cessna load of jumpers including world renown Jeff Nebelkopf and Tommy Larochelle flying the American flag in face of stiff upper winds.Over 50,000 spectators packed the area leaving a generous 25 foot wide landing strip for the skydivers. At Skydive New England the season is short here in Maine for jumping. Just about every week something is going on, one celebration or another. This week was Emma’s Birthday. Being from Australia Emma didn’t get a Prom, which became the theme for the party. Weather moved in the night before and pretty much washed all activity away for the big event leaving only the true locals on . A true pot luck where everyone brought something and before you knew it there was too much of everything, again. Summer In New England
As we move like a freight train into summer I am finally catching up enough to actually look and write on my own blog.I’ve been in New England Area since the middle of March. The Coastline is simply beautiful in any weather. The timing was just perfect with enough cold and wet weather to experience winter and the timing to a perfect spring. The icing on the cake is sharing it with Shireen who has graciously accepted my craziness for the time being.
