Owl Tattoo

HPPortrait, Skydiving

Out of nowhere, Eric shows up to Skydive New England.  A well known Tattoo artist in the Boston area, Eric brings all the tools to go. It was perfect timing. The weather had absolutely socked us in for over a week.  What amazed me most was not of his skill, talent or artistry, but the sheer amount of people who lined up to have very BIG pieces done. Eric worked non-stop for over eight hours a pop.  Some pieces took three days or longer to complete.  Check out this owl tattoo he did.  Amazing. This was done in memory of the young girls father who had passed away recently. The bond between and human canvas and the artist is another …

Back In the Saddle at SNE

THPSkydiving

Last night was our first full staff meeting since my arrival here at Skydive New England.   The team structures held well and this year with over 30% new staff we are in for one awesome season of jumping and development.  All the team leaders are jazzed at not only their positions but the possibility of creating something new with their team and the season.  We have well over 30 staff members and all of us are living on property.  The passion for the sport, culture and community is almost tangible.  No where else have I seen such commitment to a business’ people, community and infrastructure then right here with Fred and Carp.  All the new staff are from all over …

Skydiving Portraiture Team Four Play and Skydive New England

HPPortrait, Skydiving

On location studio lighting is simply amazing. On my quest and project for some serious skydiving portraiture I pulled a new four way team out from the beer line for some quick shots at Skydive New England.  They are training for The Skydiving U.S. Nationals competition in August and what better way to support them but with some great photos, right? As usual the day ran late into the sunset so we missed the most of the sunset, but there was just enough to make it work. Love this stuff. HP
