Danielle is a gorgeous subject to photograph and today it was time for her beautiful puppy Tobby!  Tobby the lovable wonderdog is a healthy, stout and strong puppy that has no end to play.  Family Portraits are not complete without Pet Portraits, just ask a dog owner!  Getting great shots of your pet in their prime is something many will cherish forever. It’s been a while, but the trip seems like yesterday.  Back in 2007 I was blessed with the rare opportunity to see the Caribbean from the perspective of family and luxury. A tropical, pirate Christmas in the Virgin Islands. Sailboats, Crystal Clear waters on an island unplugged from the matrix spent with a family I have known for many years, accepting me as one of their own.  I soaked up as much time and memories as I could.  Up at dawn, yoga on the deck, a quick swim in crystal warm waters and then back up to the house for some scrabble with Toni, Wally, Jeannie and Johnny, my incredible hosts, friends and family. This Christmas weekend I had the fortunate pleasure of spending some time with my Unkle Jon and friends.   A late afternoon Christmas dinner filled with more food and abundance then we could make a dent in, complete with ham, turkey and homemade eggnog.  A neighborhood affair, all the cool kids from the block came out for the feast.    And the best weather of the week.  The very next day is when the “Winter Storm” hit hard! I made it to the Brown’s just in time for their Christmas tree decorating party, complete with eggnog and candy canes.  It was a nice closing for this traveler’s journey.  The Brown’s are blessed with an amazing home, a beautiful family, and an incredible bond.  I had a blast following the kids around the yard and being a part of getting ready for their annual indoor picture.   The season is here and so is the weather.  The snow and cold keeps me on my journey south.  Thank you all for your hospitality and well wishes.  God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Lauren & The Boyz

Lauren’s heart is as big as the family.  Thank you for all your generosity.  And when it came to our turn we left the lake for some river action.  The boys are high energy and I was amazed at how Lauren was actually able to slow them down and focus for some pictures.  True boys who never leave a stone unturned or question left unasked.  I think they even enjoyed the process.   There were still some trees with leaves and the colors were great.  A perfect way to end the day and this round of shooting on the East Coast.  Happy Holidays!
